Picture Gallery: Designing Our Storytelling Tale Trail Fliers

Hello Everyone!
What a lovely time I have had with the children and staff at Bigyn Primary School in Llanelli this week, who have been working very hard getting ready for the Children's Tale Trail at The National Botanic Garden of Wales on 13th & 14th April (2013)

Children have asked for a seaside or coastal theme ... They have named this theme

'Shiver my Timbers!'

As a result, some of the  storytellers are coming as pirates!

For example ...
Bob Edwards will be The Pirate King
Dai Sharkey will sing sea shanties as
The Captain's Boy
Rachel Stelmach from Disbility Arts Cymru is coming as Captain Bluehook ...

When I fed back to the children that we now have pirates coming to the event, one little lad put up his hand and asked,

'Are they actual, real pirates??'
'Mmmm, yeeeees ... kind of ...'
 said with a wink ....

70 children throughout the school, have been drawing their ideas for our flier.

Here is a little film showing the first collection of ideas ...

Watch out in our next blog for the pictures that were chosen as the finalists from this first collection.

Also look out for more entries from Bigyn Primary school at the weekend and also ...

Johnstown Primary School will be joining in ...
