The Story Telling Team are getting ready to meet the children for a fun weekend!
Johnstown Primary School and Bigyn Primary School are both kindly bringing groups of children to the Event which is open to the public and anyone who wants to get lost in the wonders of story and the beauty of the Garden....
But who are the team and what will they be doing?

Creative Director
Our Creative Director, Cheryl will be bringing us physical stories about Celtic Heroines such as Blodeuwedd & Melangell in The Great Glasshouse and leading the Tale Trail around the Garden for the 2 Day Event
Anne Lister from Blaenavon will be telling her stories as part of Jackanory Twist in the Theatr Botanica
Carmarthen based Grethe Gillman has recently published her first book 'The Green Tunnel' and will be reading stories from this in the Theatr Botanica
Supported by Community Music Wales, Ceredigion based Heather Summers will be our resident musician for the 2 days with her irish reels and tuneful fiddle ...
Award winning, Merthyr based writer Helen Davies will be giving us bi-lingual stories as part of Jackanory twist in Theatr Botanica
Blaenavon based Author, Artist and Musician Jeff Rees will be sharing his story telling in Theatr Botanica
Cardiff Graffiti Artist Lloyd Roberts will be spraying story charcters in the Gallery
Cardiff Based Award winning performance poet Mab Jones will be sharing her spoken Word (TBC)
Carmarthen based Creative Artist Sam Collins will be running Collage and Story as well as supporting people to sew Blodeuwedd's Cloak of flowers in The Gallery
Coming all the way down from Mold in North Wales, Sophie McKeand will be bringing us her Spoken Word Poetry
Llandysul Based Story Teller Suzanne Hughes Owen will be taking children on a journey on her Magic Carpet
Carmarthen based Bob Edwards will be re-living the Rebecca Riots through Story
Caerphilly based Energy Moves Director Fiona Winter will be leading the 'Dance of the Ribbons' from the Great Glasshouse to The Gallery
Ceredigion based Tai Chi Instructor and Sculptress Teena Gould will be bringing Story Characters alive with movement in the Garden grounds
Supported by Arts Care Gofal Celf Crymrch Youth Dance Group will be leading the Tale Trail around The Great Glasshosue and through the grounds to the Gallery
We will also be joined by YaRn Story teller Rachel Aukland
